And it’s not even tea-time (on day 4).
Think we’re going to go one better this time?
(Mind you, that lbw decision for Katich was terrible. Even I could see it wasn’t out. Er, sorry fellas.)
Update 4.20pm: wobble wobble. Shane Warne Must Die.
6.30pm: OK, he gets to live. Bloody hell. What a match.
We are 2-1 up!! When did that last happen in the Ashes?

It’s great innit? Even with past it batsmen and missing strike bowlers, the Aussies are still a match. I do think though that the Aussies just aren’t used to being on the defensive, where of course we are past masters at this. It’s 50-50 for the oval.
In other news: DAVID JAMES DROPPED FROM THE ENGLAND SQUAD!!!
My God! Sanity has finally prevailed! After all these years! What a great sporting day this is turning out to be.
And what about that Strauss catch? A work of genius or wot?
By the way, to certain friends who spent the afternoon lazing about in Wollaton Park watching the match on the big screen: this is officially the first time I’ve ever been jealous of you for living near Nottingham.
Steve — that is indeed great (and yet amazing) news! Of course, my ex rang me to point out that his team (Charlton) has twice as many players in the squad as mine (a different London team who are known for being either brilliant or making blindingly stupid errors, but are either way no longer boring).
I’ll grudgingly admit to the brilliance of the three musketeers. Shame about that new kit, though!
Yeah, it’s Just All Wrong. It matches the new and icky badge/shield/whatsis, though. But on a bad day, they could almost be mistaken for Villa. Sooooo Wrong.
