Another early modern blog!

There’s a new early modern history blog on the block: Maids Wives and Mistresses: Early Modern Women has been started by Suzie Lipscomb, who’s doing a PhD at Oxford, focusing on gender and religion in early modern France. Suzie already has a more general blog, Necessity Prevails, but has decided to have a separate blog for writing to do with her PhD research, to help organise her ideas and research. Here’s wishing her all the best with the blogging and the PhD.

And there are pictures of her sources too! Very cool.

PS: Remember, I’m always on the lookout for early modern (history, literature, art, etc) blogs. If you have one (or read one) that isn’t on my blogroll, don’t feel shy about letting me know about it, either in comments or by email. I might have seen it and forgotten to add it; or I might not have come across it yet.
