Carnivalesque will be hosted here at EMN on Sunday 6 November. This will be an early modern edition, and so I’m looking for posts on any topic relating to the period c.1500-1800 CE (a bit earlier or later will be considered). But - if there are enough entries - there will also be a special theme section in which posts on ancient/medieval topics can also be included - and early modernists can have a ‘bonus’ entry.
5 November is the 400th anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot, and so the theme will be Plots and Politics.
To submit a nomination, you have two options:
1. Email me at sharon {at} earlymodernweb.org(.)uk, putting ‘Carnivalesque’ somewhere in the title of the email. Please ensure that you give the permalink URL of any post that you nominate (and it would also be helpful if you include the title of the post and name of the blog and the author).
2. Or you can now use the submission form at Blog Carnival. (Probably more useful if you only have one or two submissions.)
