It’s particularly great that there were so many medieval postings. Women’s History Month tends to be very ‘modern’ history-oriented (suffragettes, etc), so it’s a refreshing change.

Australia may be strange, but for the first three years the only practising historian on the WHM committee was a Medievalist (me). You can see the results on the back editions of the website. We had a great deal of fun.
