After a great many quality stuffings by former colonies, the English have mostly lost their sense of Divine Right to win at cricket. Long may this continue, even if the team does well. Being from the Celtic Fringe, I generally like to see England take a pasting at sport, but I make an exception for cricket. Boo to (ahem) British bulldog! Yay for plucky underdog! It would be a sad day if the English became as insufferable about cricket as they are about football.
Still, some utter dominance would make a nice change…
