I didn’t notice the other day that the BBC’s Fanny Hill mini-site has an 18th-century Quiz.
I only got 8 out of 10. Don’t tell my boss.

9, me. Apparently the Scottish Enlightenment discovered . . . I can’t bring myself to give it away. Check it out for yourselves.
Fanny Hill? It will be interesting to see how they’re going to broadcast that.

the ‘City of Vice’ Bow Street Runners game. Although I managed to get the clues I did let one of my victims die because of my inadequate sewing skills! I enjoyed the series largely because I so much enjoyed picking holes in it, the funniest being the fact they have placed Bow Street Court in the wrong place in the cgi sequence. Shame on that historical researcher!
