Well, that’s what happens when you sharpen toast!

What the hell kind of bread are you eating?
Um… I know it sounds bizarre. But it’s an unsliced loaf and after I cut a piece off for the toaster there was this rough sticking-up bit I didn’t notice which ended up really well done with a nice sharp edge, ow. (It was a bit like a paper cut…)
