A Question
Why is it that when you just miss a train that went on time, the next one is always late?
On this occasion, I’m talking about the Aberystwyth train, which only runs every two hours anyway (so I just had to pop in to Birmingham and do some shopping… I have new orange suede boots from the sales!).

Sadly, I didn’t bring my camera (had the bags jammed with accumulated stuff to bring home); and don’t know if I’m taking the boots back to London where the camera is (trying to avoid further accumulation since I have less than 2 months to go and *already* don’t know quite how I’m going to get everything I want to keep back here. How does that happen in just a few months?)
But you know the kind of thing: 80s retro soft suede with strappy things happening. Mmmm. (And then I bought another pair of boots on Saturday…)

Solves every problem known to woman.
Except the one called ‘overdraft’.
(I saw a gorgeous winter coat in one of the expensive Richmond shops the other weekend. I so want that coat. It was nearly £600. It ain’t gonna happen. But hopeless coveting is sort of fun too.)
